Day Three - Atlanta Exploring and The Rock Ranch

In Atlanta, started off with a walk through Olympic centennial park. Lots of waterfalls and sculptures. Very pretty. On the way to it, we past a parking lot with football fans in drinking at 10am on a Sunday!

After we went to World of Coca Cola which has a museum and bottling plant. We sampled 60 different types of coca cola products from 5 different continents. Jamie liked Simba from Africa, Kishan liked Exotic Fanta from...somewhere we can’t remember...maybe Uruguay?

We found a product from Mauritius for Kishan and from Italy, a Beverly for Beverley.

We came away from the factory of happiness...happy.

We discovered the secret formula of coca cola too....and got a free coke in a glass bottle.

After we went to see Martin Luther Kings Birthplace and his resting place on Freedom Walk.

All in all, we thought Atlanta was a 4/10...bit of a disappointment, but think may be because we stayed in wrong part by focusing on downtown...but at least we got to see Coca Cola world!

At 4pm we headed down to the Rock Ranch for our night in a Wagon. We were greeted by Dee Dee, Cindy and Novin who were so very happy to see us. They usually don’t work on Sunday’s for religious reasons but had made an exception because we were coming so far (they believed from New Jersey not the UK so were frilled by us)

We got driven up to the wagon...on route, they discovered a cow that had managed to jump the cattle grid. We were then taken on a hay wagon ride back to the main bit of the ranch...we got shown around all the animals, had a go on the slides and in the corn house (which is kinda like a kids ball pit, but instead of balls there were corn kernels.)

Back in camp, we all collected fire wood, and Jamie set up a fire, using his survival book, creating a log cabin with tepee fire arrangement on top. Ro and Luke did some dances around the fire and then we cooked our hot dogs on the fire, and for dessert we toasted marshmallows and made smores. After some star gazing we went to snuggle up in our bunkbeds in the wagon for the night.

Quote of the day:
Coca Cola Guy – So my favourite drink is from Italy, its called a Beverly...has anyone ever had or tasted one?
Rowena – Jamie has
[note to readers – Beverley and Jamie are a couple]
